Comprehensive Billable Services Policy



Scope

This policy covers the following billable services and fees:

  1. work requests
  2. priority support
  3. late fees
  4. suspensions
  5. telephone consultation

Once your site has been built according to the information you submit in the New Client Form, you are required to begin your hosting subscription. Work requests and customizations beyond what you supply in the New Client Form will be declined until you sign up for hosting.

Rates & Fees

Work Request Rates
Once your site has been built according to the information you submitted in your new client form, all time that is spent working on your site pursuant to your requests will be tracked. Work requests are processed on a first-come-first-serve basis during standard business hours. Our work request rates are based on minute usage accumulated throughout the month. This means that each update you request us to perform on your site will be tracked and the corresponding minutes will accumulate throughout the month.

All labor performed on your site will be billed on a monthly basis according to the following table.

1 - 15 accumulated work minutes per month $ 12.75 Flat Fee
16 - 30 accumulated work minutes per month $ 21.25 Flat Fee
31+ accumulated work minutes per month $ 0.85 per minute

Priority Support
If you have a particular request that you would like completed outside regular business hours, or if you have a "rush" project that you want processed ahead of the first-come-first-serve requests, priority support is available.

The priority support fee is $50.00 per project.

Work minutes will still accumulate just as they do for standard work requests.

Late Fees
The late fee for invoiced work is $5.00.

Suspensions
The account un-suspension fee is $10.00.

Telephone Consultation
All telephone consultations will incur a $50.00 charge per incident and be subject to a per minute billing rate of $0.85. This applies to both incoming and outgoing calls.

Exceptions. The telephone consultation fee will not be assessed if any of the following apply:

  • When a telephone consultation is specifically included with or offered in conjunction with one of our products or services. For example, new users are entitled to telephone consultation
  • When instructed by a helpdesk staff member
  • To address a billing issue



Billable Labor

Billable labor includes, but is not limited to:

  • layout changes
  • cosmetic adjustments
  • custom programming and related troubleshooting
  • technical instruction

We are very mindful of your pocketbook; if we get interrupted while working on your site, we will "punch out", and then "punch in" again once the interruption has passed.

Non-billable labor includes, but is not limited to:

  • discussing a question
  • discussing a suggestion
  • certain software fixes in "store software"; DropshipWebsites.com reserves all discretion on this issue.

Large Projects - for large or time consuming projects, we may require a retainer before we begin work on the project.



Billing Cycle

Invoices will be emailed to sales@yourdomain.com by the 3rd of each month.

Invoices are due upon receipt. Late fees will be assessed.

Important Calendar Days
By 3rd day of month invoices sent out for work performed during the previous month
6th day of month late fee assessed; account considered "delinquent"; subsequent work requests will be declined.
10th day of month account suspended; un-suspension fee assessed



Additional Information

Your web hosting fees cover hard disk space, bandwidth, and store software maintenance, not work requests.

Once your account is considered delinquent, all additional work requests will be denied. Work requests will resume once the past-due invoice has been paid.

Some sites may receive a minute usage cap; the "minute usage cap" is the maximum number of accumulated work minutes that will be spent fulfilling work requests on your site for the month. Details and additional information regarding the "minute usage cap" will be given to store owners whose website has been capped.

Unused complimentary minutes are not transferred to the following month.

"site" or "account" can be understood to mean the primary domain you use for your store that is hosted with us.

"Store Software" means the general functionality intended by gateway.cgi and its configuration / template files.
